It’s here! It’s here! OMG it’s release day!
Lots of awesome stuff is happening today. Ebooks are magically appearing on Kindles everywhere. The big Release Day Celebration is going to be a blast. And, of course, it’s blog tour time!
Welcome to Teaser Tuesday! In honor of the November 3rd release of Shadows on Snow, I’ve decided to share a full scene from the book with you all this week!
We are now just shy of a month out from the release of Master of Myth (Antigone’s Wrath #1), and you know what that means….
Well, today is the day. The final Super Six of 2014 is upon us. I hope you’re all ready for the last installment in the Evolution series!
Well, I did one of these last month, so I figured I’d update you all again.
So, back in January, I decided that 2014 would be my Year of No Queries. Admittedly, it’s been a hard habit to break, but, so far I’ve only slipped twice, that being responding to a reply to a query I’d sent out last year (which I reluctantly backed away from), and a what-the-hell Twitter pitch I threw out that I immediately regretted doing. Anyway, I embarked on this year with a little hypothesis I wanted to test.
The idea was that rapidly releasing books would make a large impact on my career as an author.
Oh my goodness. Where has the year gone?
2013 was a strange year for me. Not only did it bring the longest deployment of my husband that my family has had since 2007, but it also saw us moving into a brand new home in a brand new state, new schools for the kids, and a change in how life in general works for the Huchton house.
All that is on a personal level. It’s been a little crazy at times (okay, like all the time), but that’s not what this post is about.
So, last week Thursday was Talk Like a Pirate Day. Around about eleven p.m., I was sitting around wondering why more people didn’t release pirate-themed books on that day.
And that’s when it hit me. Uh, I have a pirate book. I could potentially do that.
Well, it’s been an exciting week! Maven dropped on Monday and emails have been going in and out of my computer like crazy! Writing the book is not the hard part, but everything after, it would seem. It’s all good stuff coming down the pipe, however, so I’m happy to be as busy as I am. It means I’m doing something right with this series!
A few things first, some links to get out of the way.
