Oh my goodness, I’m SO excited to share this with all of you! We’re only a month out from the release date of Evolution: ANGEL, and, today, you get to see the cover for book 1!
Okay, so it probably doesn’t come as a surprise to many people that I don’t read a lot of Contemporary Romance. It’s just not really my thing. I like my speculative fiction way too much to be dragged away from it by anything short of torture, but, when my friend Mindy Hayes came forward with this little gem, I decided to give it a go. Mindy was a real sport and threw this book at the mercy of my admittedly harsh red pen and said FIX ALL THE THINGS. While I’m no editor, and I don’t generally offer to critique things for fear of hurting feelings (really, I’m that harsh.), I can honestly tell you without hesitation that what the lovely Ms. Hayes has come up with is a truly sweet, touching story. It’s my honor to be able to show off this lovely cover today, and I will happily blast it out on social media when release day comes later this month.

We interrupt this Month of Thanks to bring you something new and shiny!
A few months back, I met a very nice person by the name for S. J. Pajonas. What I discovered is another author writing New Adult Science Fiction Romance! Whee! It’s great to meet a kindred spirit, and I was happy to include a small sample of REMOVED (book 1 of the Nogiku series) at the end of the ebook version of NEMESIS.

You may or may not remember my little story From Paris, With Regret, written for the Tales From the Archives podcast anthology, but it marked one of the most cherished accomplishments of my writing life to date. I am fortunate to count Philippa Ballantine and Tee Morris amongst my friends, and to have them ask me to write a piece to accompany one of my favorite books of the last few years was unbelievable for me. The idea they greenlighted for me spoke volumes about their faith in my abilities as a writer, and, for that, I am ever grateful. I can’t think of many authors that would allow a complete unknown to create a backstory for one of two main characters for their signature series. Honestly, I still get a little teary with gratitude and amazement over this.
And so today, I am delighted and humbled to present to you the cover for their newest endeavor. Awhile back, Tee and Pip successfully funded a Kickstarter for a board game and companion anthology for their Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences series.
