Where do I even start to talk about this? Not only had I never done a live reading before this moment, but I was unveiling the beginning of a brand spankin’ new project that only a few folks have seen.
Was I nervous? You bet.

Last year, I thought it would never be harder to write a post-con post.
And then this year had to go and decimate that conclusion.
Last year was a year of firsts. First panels, first meetings, first exposure to “fans”…
Perhaps I should just dub Balticon the “con of firsts”, because this year was full of firsts also. The big first here being the live reading. More on that in a moment.
Somehow, amidst algebra woes and editing and minion herding, Balticon 45 has snuck up on me! After a flurry of activity and scrambling yesterday, the thing that I was hoping would happen, is actually happening!
I will be presenting the opening chapters of ANTIGONE’S WRATH as a FULL CAST live reading at Balticon!

I’m such a spaz. In catching up on all the things I’ve forgotten to update, I realized I never posted about my cover art project for Antigone’s Wrath. In fact, I may have forgotten to mention it altogether on this site. So, I am remedying that now.
In a fit of impulse, I did the thing I swore I was not going to do until edits for Antigone’s Wrath were complete.
I started its sequel.
